I am a data scientist turned educator. I co-founded Skooldio, a leading EdTech in Thailand, with a mission to help everyone master today’s most in-demand skills. I am also a guest lecturer at a local university teaching data science. I received a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Chulalongkorn University. I then pursued my graduate study in Operations Research at MIT, where I learned the mathematics behind AI models. Upon receiving my Ph.D. from MIT, I joined Facebook as a data scientist and used data to improve the lives of billions of users. In 2019, I was honored on the Gen.T list by Tatler Asia for enabling anyone to develop their tech skills, along with other young leaders who are shaping Asia’s future.
I was born in the beautiful tropical islands of the Seychelles. I founded DRVR in 2016 with Eugene. We had a deal with Nissan to deploy our solution to all of their fleet sales in Asia – then the Project leader had a heart attack and the CEO was arrested. 2020 along came the pandemic and we could not offer our IoT solution. We pivoted to a Fleet Management solution using Smartphone only. We got some decent traction and managed to secure a funding round from SADIF in Cambodia. We are now finalizing a global partnership with Zendrive for them to distribute our solution. A true rollercoaster ride!
