Anna Melissa Mel Nava is currently the CEO and Founder of 1Export. Mel is an alumna of De La Salle University and the Asian Institute of Management (AIM). She has spent most of her career in the exporting industry. She began her career with Monde Nissin Philippines where she handled the U.S and European Markets. Throughout her storied career in the field of exports, Mel has always believed in the power of Filipino MSME products. Hence, after her successful career developing the export market for large corporations, she decided to found 1Export. 1Export is a one-stop, end to end platform for MSMEs to be able to access the world of exporting.

Francis Aldrine Uy

Dr. Uy is a recipient of the 2019 Outstanding ASEAN Science Diplomat Award. Dr. Uy and the USHER SHM system was also internationally recognized in 2019 with the Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award given by the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations (AFEO). He is one of the 2019 Manila Water Foundation Engineering Excellence Prize awardee. He was awarded with the 2020 David M. Consunji Award for Engineering Research given by the Philippine Association for the Advancement of Science and Technology (PhilAAST). He was awarded with the Kabalikat Researcher Award in line with DOST-PCIEERDs 10th year anniversary. Dr. Uy was included in the 2021 list of The Asian Scientist 100 magazine’s most outstanding researchers in the region.
